Alexander Blackwood
A bit of quiet time had been arranged - one of the benefits of effectively being a sept alpha - and Jesse was told to be ready for a nice evening out. When the time to head out came the Theurge was dressed neatly in a pair of black dress slacks, shoes to match and a charcoal grey dressed shirt, cutting a rather dashing figure in his own right.

Jesse
A nice evening out let her know she couldnt wear jeans at least. The down side of being overly scarred was that finding a nice dress often was impossible, and with the heat wave touching the city it was damn near impossible. But, she managed. So when he was ready she stepped out of the room in a light weight mauroon dress, the top was fairly solid and the bottom had a lace V shape to it. Around her neck was a cream choker of pearls. And her feet where in strappy gold heels. Tonight she let her hair down curled lightly.

She smiled "well you look nice"

Alexander Blackwood
Alexander looked over to the bedroom as she stepped out, smiling warmly as he looked her over. "And you look stunning, if I may say so."

Jesse
She walked over to him and stopped a few inches away, reached up and touched his cheek gently before leaning up and kissing him lightely. She smiled and stepped back "YOUR always allowed to say so. Might break someone elses nose" She chuckled. "Im ready"

Alexander Blackwood
He returned the kiss gladly, smirking a touch as he offered her his arm. "That'd be something to see, although I'd be right behind you doing the same thing. Shall we?"

Jesse
She chuckles and took his arm, leaning into him a bit. "Either you have never seen me deck a fool, or you just like a woman not afraid to scrap"

Alexander Blackwood
"More the latter, considering I know how you punch." The smirk lingered as they headed out of the apartment and made their way to the elevator down to the main floor.

Jesse
"You know the tiredness seems to have abated a bit" She said "from the bean that is"
She reached up touched his forearm with her free hand and stroked it a smile lingering on her face. "Think folks are still in shock your taken?"

Alexander Blackwood
"Good...glad to hear it." He nodded, looking down to her with a smile. "Some people probably are, yeah.

Jesse
She smiled back up at him and nodded slowly to the last. "Good."
Then "so where ARE we going?"

Alexander Blackwood
"That would ruin the surprise, wouldn't it?" He chuckled, calling the elevator with a press of a button and stepping inside once it arrived shortly thereafter.

Jesse
She stepped inside with him and leaned against the wall panel. Her hazel eyes watching him. "I guess it would" But she chuckled a little "And now i Im really intrigued"

Alexander Blackwood
"Good." He smiled quietly, standing along side her in the elevator as it went down. "Think it'll be something you'll enjoy."

Jesse
"Hope so" She reached out and slipped her finger around his "you know, I got the impression you where so full of workaholicism that i never did ask what you do for fun"

Alexander Blackwood
"Nothing too exciting, honestly. Read, go to the gun range, that sort of thing. My niece has roped me into a few games of Call of Duty, but I'm still on the fence about that one."

Jesse
She lightly pressed her lips together and nodded "I kind of figured it wasnt anything too exciting" she chuckled and gave his finger a squeeze

"Have i met your niece yet?" She asked as the elevator stoppeda nd the doors open

Alexander Blackwood
"You have. She came with us on that last big run we did." He nodded, making an 'after you' motion and letting her exit first. "Don't think you got to talk with her much, though."

Jesse
"No, not really. Was kind of busy" She let go of his hand and walked through, giving a look around before looking back at him

Alexander Blackwood
"I'll introduce you two properly at some point." He walked alongside her, heading towards where his truck was waiting outside and opening the door for her all gentlemanly-like. "She's part of our logistics team here, making sure we've got what we need on hand."

Jesse
She slipped into the car with a murmered thank you. "Yeah Id like to meet family. Your parents or siblings running a muck ?"

Alexander Blackwood
"My parents and one of my sisters are in New York, while my other sister is down south in Los Angeles. She comes up every now and again, since her daughter's here."

Jesse
"You tell them..?" She asked and looked over at him "Or are you estranged from your family"

Alexander Blackwood
"About us? I have, yeah." He nodded, getting settled in his side of the car and got them rolling towards the central part of town. "I keep in touch with them regularly enough."

Jesse
She scooted closer. "I was wondering, as you dont talk much about it"

Alexander Blackwood
"Understandable thing to wonder about. We all keep ourselves busy, though, so even if we don't talk much we're close enough."

Alexander Blackwood
The drive from the Waypoint to their destination went quickly enough, with the truck pulled into a parking lot close to the Space Needle. Once the engine was turned off he hopped out and went to go open her door, smiling a touch. "You been up in the Needle yet?"

Jesse
She got out when he opened the door and looked around "I..dont think so?" She tilted her head and looked back at him, a smile on her face.

Alexander Blackwood
"Well, that'll change now." Alex offered her his arm before heading towards the Needle. "They've got a restaraunt up at the top that's both solid and has a hell of a view."

Jesse
She took his arm and leaned into him a bit as they walked. "I have this sense of de ja vu for some reason...." She blinked and chuckled "but I know I havent been there. Their food good?"

Alexander Blackwood
"Oh?" He gave her a curious look at that. "Somewhere in Vegas while you were there, maybe? Want to think they have a place like that in one of the casinos."

"Very good, yeah."

Jesse
She shook her head "No, I can tell you that I know ..if not the specifics that Hudson did not take me out to a place where there was a lot of people. To much risk" She said and looked up at him "and no the dejavu is with you" She grinned "So must be on the right track with you"

Alexander Blackwood
"Ah hah." He nodded, smiling as he looked down to her in kind, heading towards the tower. "Sounds like a good thing to me."

Jesse
"Well I think so" She looked around as they moved, and up at the tower then back up to him "admittedly I am pretty hungry too"

Alexander Blackwood
"That the general eating for two or were you working out through lunch again?" He smirked a touch, knowing that he couldn't say much on that front himself, admittedly. Gaia knew that he had missed more than a few meals over the years.

Jesse
She actually looked sheepish and leaned her face against his arm before leaning back and laughing. "Maybe a bit of both. ..Hey its how i handle stress" She chuckled and shook her head, her cheeks slighlty pink

Alexander Blackwood
He chuckled as well, leading the way into the elevator as they made their way up the tower to the restaurant. "So I've noticed. Heard you put a beating on one of the punching bags earlier this week."

Jesse
"You been keeping a eye on me?" She chuckled "To be fair if you where after me leaving and not telling you, I wouldn't hold it against you...and yes, I did. At least I didn't break your treadmill"

Alexander Blackwood
"I keep an eye on everything that happens at home; part of the job." He smirked, looking towards the door as it opened up to the top floor of the Needle and into the restaurant itself. Beyond the hostess stand the pair could see the view of the city both through the windows and through the glass panes laid out through the majority of the floor of the rotating structure.

The Theurge approached the hostess and let her know which reservation they were there for, letting her get the menus and whatnot together before following after her to their table.

Jesse
"So..you watch me sometimes?" She chuckled not seeming to mind the idea. She smield politely at hte hostess and waited to be seated

Alexander Blackwood
"I do, yes." He pulled a chair out for Jesse once they reached the table, getting settled on his side of the table once she was in place. "I like to know that you're doing alright."

Jesse
She sat down and grinned "so...is it like 'thats ma baby" or is it more "Holy hell why does she stay in the gym so long!?!?! doesnt she ever eat! whos she beating up now?" She turned a little pale, she did yoga and actually DANCED as she believed in trying to be well rounded beyond combat "did you see me dancing?" Ballet too.

Alexander Blackwood
"Bit of both, admittedly." He chuckled, smiling as she suddenly blanched. "Once or twice. I was impressed."

Jesse
She had to laugh, her hand coming up over her mouth and gave a shake of her head. She lowered her hand "I feel like I trip over my feet when I dance. But thank you. And I dont really mind. Its kind of nice to know that you peek in and watch on occasion, makes me feel less creepy about watching you sleep when I cant. Though sometimes THATS out of jealousy" She chuckled agian

Alexander Blackwood
"You're very welcome."

"Jealousy?" He gave her a curious look. "That you're not able to sleep, or something else?"

Jesse
She reached out and took his hand and said "Just that I have trouble sleeping and sometimes you dont seem to"
